There are a couple of ways to do this.

You can email or text your current location from the map page: Tap the placemark button ✛ at the bottom left of the map page and select 'Share Your Location'. Choose Email or Text.

OR

You can use Trail Boss's 'Location Sharing' feature so your spouse will see your location continuously updated on the map: First, you must create a private location sharing group, go to the Settings page and select 'Location Sharing'. Create a user name. Then select 'Create New Group' and give it a name and password that both of you will remember. Next, have your spouse install Trail Boss. They must go to the settings page and select 'Location Sharing' and create a user name. Then they must join the group that you created. Now, whenever you are recording a trip, your location is periodically sent to all members of your group. Your spouse will be able to see your location on the Trail Boss map page. Both you and your spouse must have a cellular connection for this feature to work.
